Fun and easy way to practice letter recognition

I love these puzzles to coordinate with our letter of the week! I printed the color version on cardstock and laminated to use for pre-teaching and for later morning centers. I include the black & white version as a choice for table activities during free play (the center where I work forbids requiring worksheets). The children love to color them and then cut & paste, all valuable fine motor skills. I then review the sounds when they inevitably come and show me what they have done. This enjoyable activity allows for creativity and increases both practical skills and self-confidence.

It is great. I love that there are tons of cards and that there are 2 different options in boards. For where my Kindergarten kids are at (I do Title Reading) the pictures on the board are great so I can say the sound and they have to find the picture that starts with that sound. Thank you!!

I am a pediatric PT as nd am using this game in my school and clinic sessions. Every age group has loved this game! We place the cards at on end of the room and the picture at the other and race back and forth either over obstacles, on scooter, or running.

My great granddaughter loves the Alphabets with the animals being part of the letter. Her mom and dad sent me a video with her in the floor and all the alphabet. She read them off for me. I love them too.

This resource is so useful! I am using it to help my preschoolers develop their fine motor skills, color recognition skills, sorting and classifying, as well counting skills!
