Weather Slap It! is a modified form of the old favorite "Slap Jack." The difference is that there is a center pile in addition to the player piles. The card turned over in the center pile shows which card players are looking to slap. You can choose any format of cards for the center pile, so children get extra review with the format they find hardest and can match it to formats they know well.

How to Use It

Step 1: Print and cut apart the cards. Choose one card format for the center pile and give each player a pile of the playing cards.

Step 2: Turn over the top card of the center pile. This card shows which card players are looking for. Players take turns turning over cards from their own piles.

Step 3: When a card matches the center card, players race to slap it. Once the matching card is slapped, turn a new card in the center pile and begin searching for a new card to slap.
