Numbers 1-20 card game fun with high energy! The Numbers 1-20 Slap-It Card Game is a fast-paced, "Slap-Jack" style game for reviewing numbers 1-20, and it is easy to customize to fit your students' needs.
Players flip cards one at a time and race to slap the card that matches the CENTER card. The set includes 8 card formats for every number 1-20: numerals, number words, ten frames, tally marks, dice, dominoes, counting pictures and base-ten tens and ones, so children see each number in many different ways. A ten frame is a simple grid of ten boxes that helps children see and count numbers, and tally marks are small lines grouped in fives that show how many.

How to Use It
Step 1: Print the cards on card stock and laminate them if you like. Card stock is recommended because some children will try to see through the cards. Place the CENTER cards face down in a pile and deal the PLAYING cards equally among the players, face down.
Step 2: Decide the first player and flip over one CENTER card. In clockwise order, players flip one PLAYING card at a time.
Step 3: When a PLAYING card matches the CENTER card, SLAP-IT! The first player to slap the card takes the pile of cards that have been played and adds them to the bottom of their own pile. Flip another CENTER card and keep playing until time is up or one player has all the PLAYING cards.
Materials You'll Need
- Card stock
- Optional: laminating supplies
