Butterfly ten-frame puzzles make counting to 20 simple, hands-on and easy to add to your butterfly theme or butterfly life cycle unit. A ten-frame is a box of ten squares that helps children see numbers in groups of five and ten.
Children count the butterfly pictures in each ten-frame, then match the puzzle piece to the correct numeral and number word. This low-prep counting activity gives preschool, pre-k and kindergarten students extra practice with numbers 1-20.
