How to Use It

Step 1: Choose the activities you want, then print them in color or black and white. Laminate pieces you want to reuse, or slide pages into write and wipe pockets.

Step 2: Model each activity in a small group, such as counting a ten-frame clip card by tens or filling in a missing number on a 100-chart.

Step 3: Rotate the activities through math centers. Bring out the class set of BINGO cards, Count the Room or I Have, Who Has? for whole group practice.

Some Tips

  • To save on laminating, use a write and wipe pocket for the play dough mats and roll and make activities.
  • Use dry erase markers or crayons to trace the number words at the bottom of the play dough mats.

Every child is at a different place with counting and place value. This pack makes it simple to meet each child right where they are.
